A technical yoga method
My Yoga Process
Three technical keys born from a life with chronic joint pain — the Pelvic Hug, the Asana Approach Technique and Autonomous Muscle Tension. Yoga you can practise without strain, at any age.

The three technical keys
The whole method rests on three of its own techniques: the Pelvic Hug (PH) to protect the lower back, the Asana Approach Technique (AAT) to enter each posture in phases, and Autonomous Muscle Tension (AMT) to hold yourself with your own strength.
The Pelvic Hug (PH)
The heart of the method: protect the lower back in every forward bend by bending the knees.
2The Asana Approach Technique (AAT)
Enter every posture in phases — each stage is already a complete, valid practice.
3Autonomous Muscle Tension (AMT)
Hold every posture with your own strength — no grips, no external support.
About Frank Calber
At 69, after facing chronic joint pain, Frank Calber made pain his teacher. My Yoga Process distils that journey into a practical method anyone can learn.
